About.com's Small Business Information seeks well-written and informative content to reach a wide audience of small business owners. If you have some general how-to tips, small business best practices or insights that may benefit small business then feel free to submit your content.
Writer's Submission Guidelines
Format: Written work should be from 400 to 2,000 words in length. Avoid lengthy paragraphs and provide the material in Web reading format where people tend to scan and read less. Include bullet points and sub headings to make reading easy and enjoyable. Please provide additional links to web sites that a reader may explore the topic in greater depth. Additional, include a biographical background with links to your Web site and email address for publication with your content.
Topics: Submission guidelines cover subjects that appeal to small business owners, small business staff, CEO's, consultants, new entrepreneurs and management of small companies. We are looking for original content on what small business needs to know. This may also include book reviews, comparison reviews, and "top picks".Editing: The Small Business Information Guide has the right to edit your content for clarity, style, and format. Writer's submitting content will not have final review rights before the article is published.
Author Rights: For submission of a feature article, we request exclusive worldwide electronic rights to publish the article at About.com's Small Business Information for 30 days. About.com and Darrell Zahorsky, SBI Guide, retain non-exclusive rights after thirty days to archive your article on the site and all other rights as stated in the disclaimer below which you must submit to be published. You will not lose your rights to your work.
