The unmarried, unemployed, plain Scottish women took all by surprise amid the snickers with her angelic voice. The YouTube video of the performance has received over 30 million views and counting. Susan Boyle at age 47, decided to enter the talent show. She could of easily made excuses such as "I am too old". Yet, despite all possible excuses she showed up.
