The raging, fast-spreading infernos in Southern California clearly demonstrates no business is immune from disaster. According to a recent NFIB National Small Business Poll, man-made disasters affect 10% of small businesses, whereas natural disasters have impacted more than 30% of all small businesses in the USA. The toughest decision pending a disaster is whether to close or re-open your business. Disaster preparedness is key. Jon Toigo, a disaster recovery expert says "if you lose your data, you can lose your business." Toigo and Office Depot have created a free brochure entitled Expecting the Unexpected: Disaster Preparedness Strategies for the Small Business.

Stats show that 25% of businesses that close because of disaster never reopen. Having a plan in place can help you stay open during a disaster, or ensure a speedy reopening. Scary thing is, most businesses don’t even have a basic plan in place! Many owners don’t even know what documents they need on hand to make insurance claims.
I am doing a project for school and I think this could be the answer but their is not enough information to tell.
