Bad Business Names

Monday July 16, 2007
Selecting a great business name or brand name is a challenging endeavor. One important aspect is to make sure your name doesn't have any bad implied meanings. Would you do business with Crooks Accounting or Mess Graphics? These companies broke the naming commandment of "avoiding word play dangers." It's important to be creative and build a stand out business name but creativity can go too far. Ask for feedback from others before you commit to buying marketing materials and registering your business name.

I agree wholeheartedly how important it is to test marketing, no matter the size. As a Spokane Personal Trainer I routinely test various marketing strategies such as direct mail, display ads in various quantities.

Thanks!
