Angel Investors vs Venture Capitalists

Wednesday July 4, 2007
Who provides more cash to entrepreneurs? Angel investors or venture capitalists? Recent research as cited in the Journal of Private Equity indicates the amount of capital provided by angel investors to be 11 times the amount provided by venture capitalists on a global basis. Angels provide financing accounting for 70% of capital for new ventures. When you need from $25,000 to $500,000, angel investors can provide the money to make your small business successful. Angels help bridge the gap between seed money and venture capital.
