World Ranking of Capital Access
Saturday September 16, 2006
One item I discussed at this weeks seminar in New York was the need for small business to embrace the innovation game to compete globally. As Tom Friedman, author of "The World is Flat" believes other countries are racing America to the top. Proponents say America has access to better resources and capital. This report on capital access by the Milken Institute will make you think twice. America ranks in 4th place. The top ten list as follows:
1. United Kingdom
2. Hong Kong
3. Singapore
4. United States
5. Sweden
6. Denmark
7. Australia
8. Norway
9. Finland
10. tie–Canada and Ireland
