Venture Capital for Small Business

The MoneyTree released its quarterly venture capital investment activity survey for the United States. This report is developed by PricewaterhouseCoopers, Thomson Venture Economics and the National Venture Capital Association. What is interesting is the level of activity by industry and stage of development. The odds of winning one out of 674 deals is remote unless your company is in biotech, software, or telecommunications industry. Even in those industries the competition is more than most small business would bargain for. So forget venture capital. That's right, forget it. It's not that I'm against venture capital.
