Independence Day: America's Original Entrepreneur
Friday July 4, 2003
On July 4th, 1776 a group of politicians and business men gathered to sign the Declaration of Independence. Among this group of founding fathers was a man, no other than, Benjamin Franklin. Franklin is America's original entrepreneur. He created many worthwhile products, including: bifocals, an odometer, the lightning rod, and the wood stove. Practice Franklin's virtue of industry:"Lose not time; be always employed in something useful; cut off all unnecessary actions."
