Don't Call Me Ever Again
Sunday June 29, 2003
If you haven't already heard, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) launched the FTC Do Not Call Registry
on Friday, June 28th. Over 735,000 Americans registered on that single day alone.
The FTC is predicting 60 million Americans will sign up. Does this mean the end of cold-calling? Actually, several States such as Minnesota, already have a do-not-call registry and telemarketers have adapted. At least plan to adapt your business to the new regulations and avoid the $11,000 fine per call. See the FTC FAQ for Business.
